MAKEitREAL is a mobile makerspace for girls aged 10 to 16. From April 2026, the free STEM programme offered by Heilbronn University will launch in the Hohenlohe region with holiday workshops in Öhringen and Künzelsau.

Technology, programming and creative design – without prior knowledge, without pressure to perform, accompanied by female students as role models. The aim is to make technology tangible, strengthen self-confidence and open up new educational and future perspectives.
The project has already been implemented by Heilbronn University in the Heilbronn region for several years and will be funded by the Christian and Dorothee Bürkert Foundation with a total of 100,000 euros during 2026-2027.
From April 2026, MAKEitREAL will be extended to the Hohenlohe region on the initiative of our foundation. The launch will be marked by holiday workshops in Öhringen and Künzelsau. Other funding partners include the Vector Foundation, Dieter Schwarz Foundation, the Heilbronn district and the Hohenlohe district.
